So this month is my first month being on the Gossamer Blue design team and I couldn't be more excited to show you guys what I made! I can't believe I never had a kit subscription before, it's AH-MAZING. This month's Life Pages Kit is the perfect kit to start with. I just can't get over how perfect all those cork pieces are. Be sure to check out the Gossamer Blue gallery to see what the other design team members made. Everything is gorgeous!
Here are some of the pages I made documenting my trip to Arizona and going hiking with my family.
Hiking through Mt. Lemmon in Arizona with my family, I was sure to take SO MANY photos. Part of memory keeping is that it forces you to be intentional with taking photos and actually printing them. I love having that physical copy of my photographs, beautifully recorded so I can look back at later and share with family and friends.
Below are some more fun pages documenting our family hiking day. I added a post card I got a gift shop up in the mountain and also a leaf I collected during our hike. I love experimenting in my album and adding unusual elements to my pages like memorabilia. I'm not sure how many people would consider a leaf to be memorabilia, but it is for me!
I used a lot of gorgeous journaling cards from the Heidi Swapp Favorite Things core kit here. I love how seamlessly my own kits from my etsy shop mix and match with the project life kits I have in my stash. It makes for an easy and quick process when I put my pages together.
I tried quite a few new techniques in these pages- including postcards, a fern, cork embellishments, and more. I love exploring and seeing what new techniques I love. What are some of your favorite techniques to use in your pages?
