Halloween Outgoing Mail Tag Share

Oh my gosh. Today I have a treat for you! I made a gorgeous Halloween tag mail for one of my penpals and I’m sharing all the details and inspiration photos.

Halloween is usually not very exciting for me. As an adult who doesn’t drink or go to parties or have kids or watch scary movies, this holiday usually just means spending ton of money on candy for the trick-or-treaters and not doing much of anything else. The last couple of years, it started to feel like I was missing out on the celebration and fun. So this year, I was determined to change that! One of the many ways I am changing it this year is by creating really pretty and fun Halloween paper crafting projects because you know I like to make.

Here’s a look at a Halloween tag mail flip that I recently sent to my penpal and fellow Wild Hare Kits design team member, Tazhiana! There’s a video flip through and tons of photos for your Pinterest and inspriation!

Pocket Page Letters

Hello beautiful person! A year ago I shared a tutorial on how to make pocket page letters to send to your friends and penpals. It seemed only fitting that I share some of the gorgeous pocket page letters that I've made for and gotten from my penpals over the last year. Pocket page letters are so much fun to make because you get the challenge of filling each pocket with something beautiful. Here are some pretty project life style letters :)

One of my favorite techniques to use in pocket letters is to use my fuse tool to create fun sequin pockets or pockets of ephemera for my penpals. It's so fun to fuse different shapes and different patterns into a pocket. I also love including washi tape samples, pretty ephemera, a travel bucket list, and mail tag questions. Other pockets I might fill with a letter or I just put patterned paper inside and embellish with a sticker.

Have you tried pocket page letters yet? If you have penpals or love Project Life, you should definitely give it a try! They are super fun to make and oh so fun to receive. Plus, they're an awesome way to use up some of your gorgeous stash.

Laura

Making and sending gorgeous mail to my friends and penpals is one of my favorite ways to use up my papercrafting stash. At some point I accumulated way more than I'll ever use for my Project Life albums. Having other paper crafting hobbies and projects like this helps me use some of my gorgeous papers, stickers, stationery and other items I have in my craft room. The best part? Totally making someone's day when they open up their mailbox and find a gem like this inside. I know it makes my day oh so wonderful when I receive one of these beautiful letters among all the bills and not-fun stuff that usually comes in the mail.

Send pretty mail to someone you like today. :)
