New Christmas Journaling Cards in the Shop!

I always get so excited in the month of December because documenting Christmas is one of my favorite memory keeping projects of the whole year. Today I'm sharing a new pack of Project Life journaling cards I have up in my etsy shop, perfect for scrapbooking your holiday season!

I'm totally geeking out over my hand lettering. It's improved so much over the last couple of years and I adore these journaling cards, they are so cute! There's also a few abstract paint patterns and patterned filler cards too. Lots of gorgeousness.

I wanted to create a Christmas Project Life journaling card pack that was super fun and playful while also speaking some sentiments that are so important to remember during the month of December. The presence/presents card is one of my favorites because it's such a good reminder that Christmas (and even December Daily or December Memories,) isn't about the stuff, it's about being with your loved ones. Yay for sweet reminders.

You can get this Project Life Christmas journaling card kit, designed by me, in my etsy shop. You can also find lots of other gorgeous Project Life designs there too! What are you using to document your December?

Fitness Project Life Pages + More

Hello gorgeous! Are you ready to see lots of gorgeous paper crafting things? I have more pages from my 2016 Project Life album to show you! There is so pink and white space in these pages, I'm in love. I also started including my fitness and health journey in my Project Life album this year too, which I'm excited about.

My process this year has been a lot simpler and easier with the smaller 6x12 size and my memory keeping style has evolved this year too. I'm a lot more minimal with a love for the color pink in this year's album than I have been in years past. If you're interested to how I set up my 2016 album, you can find that post here.

Aren't the colors so gorgeous in these pages? I'm totally smitten with them. I'm also loving documenting more of my everyday life- yoga, working out, college, doing projects around the house. Lots of everyday moments documenting for me to look back on and remember in 10 years from now. I just love that!

In these pages I used some of my favorite kits from Studio Calico and Gossamer Blue. Both companies have totally gorgeous subscriptions for papercrafting lovers. What do you document in your project life pages?

What's New Lately- YouTube Channel, Photography, and College!

Hello gorgeous! It's been pretty quiet around the blog the past 6 or so months and I wanted to share an update about how life is going and what I've been up to. Because we're friends, right? And friends, totally need to catch up occasionally. So grab a cup of coffee (or hot cocoa, if your taste buds are like mine,) and let's chat!

Laura Rahel UNCC

First, I went back to school this year.

I was really nervous as it's my first time attending a major university and student loans can be so daunting. And let me tell ya, it has been hard! Real talk- the homework and studying never ends. My first two years of college were a breeze. But being a junior at a major university, has been WAY different and way more challenging.

My degree and career field (psychology) requires that I go to grad school. And the pressure of getting amazing grades so I get into an awesome grad school is a ton. It's all pressure I put on myself, which makes the whole thing seem silly; but it turns out that performing really well, academically, is important to me. If I'm going to do college, I want to do it well, ya know? haha. The studying has been at a Rory Gilmore level which is why I haven't been blogging very much the last 6 months.

Second, I've started focusing on my photography business.

This year, a couple of things really came together for me to return to my photography roots. I fell in love with feminism and teaching women self-love, body-positivity, and how to fall totally in love with themselves despite crazy modern beauty standards. When I realized I could combine my love for taking beautiful photographs with my love of empowering women, Laura Rahél Photography was created.

I specialize in boudoir photography for women. My brand is all about teaching women self-love and body-positivity and giving women the experience of getting breath-taking boudoir photos of themselves. You can see my work on my photography website, where I also blog about self-love, body-positivity, and boudoir photography. There's a major dose of happiness and empowerment waiting for you to read on my photography blog. I would love if you stopped by there and read some things and said "hi!"

Third, I started a crafty YouTube channel.

I just started using my YouTube channel finally and I am so excited to bring you crafty stuff in video format. So far, I've been sharing monthly unboxing videos of my Gossamer Blue kits and I hope in the future to bring crafty projects to the channel and a studio tour- whatever you want to see! So let me know what you'd like to see me do a video on and I'll put it on my list.

As you can see, I've been up to a lot! Which is why it's been quiet around here. But I'm hoping to get more intentional about blogging and making sure I'm sharing my life and projects with you here. Life is crazy and busy but I love this space and I love talking to you and sharing things with you. I hope you enjoyed some of these updates. I would love to hear what you think about them and what's going on in your life, too! Drop a comment below and let me know. <3
